Service
How Big?
Homes can be fueled by tanks of varying sizes, depending on the demand (size of home, number of gas-fueled appliances, etc.). 100-gallon tanks provide a basic level of service while 1,000-gallon tanks can fuel very large homes with swimming pools and hot tubs. Generally, 500-gallon tanks easily accommodate an average home.
Folger Gas has a service team that is second to none. We’ll work with you on upgrading your home to efficient propane. We’ll consult with your builder on renovations or new construction. Or we’ll simply be there when the weather starts cooling off to check and light your furnace.
Keep the beauty of your home intact by letting us install an underground propane tank. Only visible is a small dome, which houses the valves, gauges and regulators, allowing for easy servicing and refilling. Even large-capacity tanks can be installed with minimal visual intrusion, yet still provide the clean, efficient comfort of propane energy. Excavation is usually small — approximately 4 feet wide by 12 feet long by 5 feet deep. And underground tanks are constructed of heavy steel and are specially painted with a mastic coating to prevent corrosion. Just ask us for more information.
